Nordstrom Rack Haul + TRY-ON

Even though I am a Summer season at heart, I do love Fall.  Other than the nice weather and the different colored leaves, I love the fall wardrobe. I think there are fun staple pieces that you can mix & match, and wear in winter as well.

So I decided to skip the wait for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (NSale) and shop at Nordstrom Rack. Actually, Nordstrom Rack has some of the items from NSale available for the same price or cheaper. My picks were based on fall staple pieces that can be easily worn in the winter. If you’ve shopped at Nordstrom Rack around the NSale before, you know things typically sell out SO fast. I updated my cart a few times while shopping, and I had to pick different items sometimes as well.  I like that Nordstrom Rack has a great shipping/returns policy (free shipping and free returns). If you are on the fence about getting something, I would suggest buying it while you can, and if you change your mind later you can return it with no issues or charge. The entire item list below were all under $40, such great purchases!

My stats for reference, I am 5’3 around 115-120 pounds. I usually wear a size XS in tops (pre-pregnancy) now I am between XS-S depending on the fitting, and a size 25 or 26 in skirts. Shoes size, I am 7 1/2 or 8. Let’s get into my picks!

Item #1

This Suede Miniskirt in coffee bean color. I love the color of this skirt; I think it is very Fall. This is a great staple for your fall and winter wardrobe. For those warmer days, you can pair this with ankle booties or fashion sneakers. You easily can wear this with tights and high boots for those cooler days. This one was on sale under $40 which is very affordable for a suede skirt. I’m wearing size 26 and it fits true to size. I linked some similar options as well.

Item #2

I got this Snakeskin Faux Leather Moto Jacket at an amazing price, under $18 (like what!!!). One of my favorite parts of fall is all the layering options; a moto jacket is an essential piece to any wardrobe during fall. You can throw it over a tee, tank, or a dress. The quality of this jacket is amazing, and the fact that you can get it for under $18 is so good. It is the perfect piece to add a detail of animal print to your outfit, and in my opinion animal print definitely elevates any outfit and makes it chic. If you want to layer this Snakeskin Faux Leather Moto Jacket with a bulky sweater underneath, I would recommend sizing up. I’m wearing size S and it fits true to size. I linked some similar options as well.

Item #6

This fall ankle boot trend is already happening, and I went here for a more Western-inspired pair. Neutrals are always a safe bet during Fall. This pair got my attention for the stacked block heel which is only 2’’ (perfect for this mama) and a comfy look. I scored these for under $18, original price $70. This pair is not longer available at Nordstrom Rack but found it in other store, here.
